Its seems the media gets a major-boner every time Paris Hilton does something. And I don’t mean her sex tapes, her drunk-driving or jail-time either. Paris has paparazzi and film crews follow her, and everything she does is presented as real news. It doesn’t matter if its her new documentary, her new reality show, her relationships, her latest shopping excursion, what she’s wearing or not wearing (panties mostly), and if she takes a dump, they’ll let you know how long it took and how big it was. If Paris Hilton blew her nose, it would be news.

Fortunately, the Internet has been wise to Paris and we haven’t been subjected to any major meme surrounding the Simple Life star. Well, there are the sex tapes, but that’s a completely different story.

So what would it be like if every popular Internet meme had been started about Paris Hilton? What if all Internet memes were about Paris Hilton? The results are kinda scary.

I Can Has Cheez Burger

What if those four little words were not attached to a picture of a cat? Would LOLCats even exist? Probably not. The folks at icanhascheezburger.com would be displaying the latest and greatest LOLHiltons instead of LOLCats. Scary thought, eh?

Ceiling Cat

Chances are at some point in time you’ve come across ceiling cat. A sweet little cat whose head is sticking out of a hole in the ceiling (or other creative places), and usually attached to the picture is a caption. Now, imagine if there were no cute cuddly kitty, but instead the heiress’ head sticking out and watching over you. As you could imagine, the results would be a little disturbing.

Talk About Performance Anxiety.

And More….

Rather than go into too much detail about some of the other memes Paris could have destroyed, I’ll let them speak for themselves.

Are there any other memes that Paris Hilton could’ve completely destroyed? Are there worse options than Paris? Does Anyone know the launch date for her next sex tape? Leave a comment.

While shopping online can be fun and convenient, it can also be a great way to save money on everything from clothing to electronics. However, it’s important to do your research because not all online shops are created equal. Price and product selection are important, but so are quality, customer service and shipping rates.

Below are just a few of my favorite places to look for discounts on the Web:

  • StealDeals.net: A great site offering an excellent selection of deals on a daily basis. I’ve found great deals on MP3 players, home decor and office supplies thanks to this site. It can also be especially beneficial to look here if you’re shopping for a gift.
  • Woot.com: As the site explains - one day, one deal. I’ve always found Woot to be sort of hit-or-miss; sometimes there’s something great, but you’ve got to really keep checking back each day in order to find the hidden gems. Shipping rates are around $5 or $6.
  • Amazon.com Friday Sale: Amazon is one of my favorite online stores in terms of price, product selection, shipping costs and service. Don’t miss the weekly Friday sale, which frequently features great buys on everything from outdoor gear to baby clothes.
  • Endless.com: Yeah, I’m addicted to shoes. Endless is an Amazon.com store that features a great selection of shoes for men, women and children. The “Sale” section of the site features many discounted shoes. The site also offer free overnight and return shipping.
  • Buy.com: With its wide range of products and great weekly offers, Buy.com is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to shop. Over the past three months, I’ve purchased a 2GB MP3 player for a mere $20, a 4GB flash drive for $10 and ended up getting a 1GB MP3 player completely free thanks to a special discount. As an additional bonus, shipping is free on many items.

I’m sure there are plenty of great online stores that I haven’t had the opportunity to shop at yet. What are some of your favorite online sources for discount shopping? Feel free to share your finds in the comments section below!

31. 19. This was freaking hilarious. I absolutely adore him. And to be completely honest, his personality has turned me on more to his music. Does the unedited version exist anywhere?

© Copyright www.all-aboutshopping.comSummer is well nigh upon us. Have you stocked up your summer essentials? Try shopping the Summer Specials on Strawberrynet. There are self-tanners, after sun care and some lovely bronzing makeup.

My eye is particularly drawn to the Dior Addict Glitter Collection Lipstick ( Limited Edition ) which has been slashed down to US$16.50. There are 5 colours available.

If only I did not already have so many lippies! Still, Dior Addict are one of my fave lipies and US$16.50 (RM54.50) is a pretty decent price.© Copyright www.all-aboutshopping.com - You are reading this in a feed

Last night the power came on, after 5 grueling days! Wow did we celebrate. We ran baths, showers, turned on ever light (just because we hadn’t ever seen the house completely lit up; just day light, candles and flahslights.) and charged up our cameras, computer, school-loaned cell phone, etc. It’s really amazing how much we take for granted in the states. Even something as simple as a flushing toilet is a luxury. We really rely on the generator (provided we have fuel on hand ) to run the pump to the bore hole for the water tank. Muncipal water is out when municipal power is out. FUN!

So we went to a flea market near our home and bought a few things like batiiks and some wicker stuff. Also a couple pirated dvds for the kids. ; )Then we went with the new teachers out to a little place in the country (about 20 minute drive) for a lovely brunch and watched Sable and Zebras as we ate. Wow. And then, a little further out to a place called Domboshawa for a hike up to the top of this huge whale-shaped rock teetering on another huge rock. Very beautiful. I’ll send pics eventually. ; )

Today we’re at school for inservice, so it’s time I actually got to work!

I received my first packages from Alloy and Amazon today. All the clothes that came today fit. Yay! If you want to see them, they have all been posted here in separate blog entries. If you don’t feel like sifting through those twelve entries, then go to my Flickr and check them out. They’re so purty. :) I also, like I said, got my shipment from Amazon today which contained the OneRepublic, Katy Perry, and Metro Station CDs. Yay.

So why do I shop online and through catalogs instead of in stores? You get a lot better deals in catalogs and online sometimes than you do in stores. And when you’re looking for a specific size that doesn’t come in stores offline, then it is better to do your shopping online where you may have to send the clothes back if they don’t fit than to be so disappointed when you go to a real store and find clothes that definitely do not fit.

My mom checked with me to make sure I didn’t “overspend”, which according to my estimates from how she described how much money I should have saved, then I didn’t. I spent the exact right amount. Of course, I got loads of stuff. All it takes is a keen eye to the sales and you can get a lot of stuff in just a few short purchases.

I’ve wondered if I have a shopping addiction, but I don’t think I do. I think I know when to stop. Of course, that’s usually when I reach my limit of how much I can spend. But I rarely overdraw my account, so I think I’m doing a bang up job. Don’t you?

I can’t wait until my other stuff gets here. I still have 6 DVDs, 1 CD, 1 sweater, 6 books, 1 bookmark, and some shirts that I ordered that haven’t gotten here yet. They should be here soon.

Columbia House can’t give me my information about the overcharge on the DVDs yet because they said I didn’t give them enough information on their form. They wanted my full address to match up my account. So I sent it. It’ll be another two days to find out why they double charged me. At least it was only $2.45 too much, but still $2.45 is a lot when you haven’t had a lot of money. (Or any money.)

I pulled a muscle in my arm last night. Ugh! How? Well, I was changing clothes, and it just happened. Very painful. Maybe it’ll feel better soon, or so I hope.

In India there are about 500 consumers’ organizations working in the field of consumers’ protection. The most popular are: Consumers’ guidance society of India (Mumbai), Citizen Action group (Mumbai), consumer education and research (CERC) Ahmedabad, Common cause (New Delhi) etc. consumer unity and trust society (CUTS). These associations are performing following functions:

Bringing out brochures, journals etc, spreading consumer awareness, collecting data of different products and testing them, arrange seminar, conferences for the purpose of focusing on the problems of consumers, encoring the consumers to boycott the goods of bad quality or harmful contents for example CERC spread awareness among general public regarding pesticide contents in cola drinks and encourage the consumers to boycott the use of cold drinks.

Filing suits or complaints on behalf of customers, educating the consumers to help themselves, running complaint counters for consumers’ guidance and counseling, helping government agencies to resolve cases of consumer exploitation and to carry on consumer awareness programs, educating women regarding consumerism, motivating people to ask for quality marks such as ISI mark, agmark etc.

This week for New Toy Tuesday I am reviewing the Magnificent Vibrating Glove. It’s not a dildo or a vibrator in the traditional sense. It is exactly what it says it is - a glove that vibrates - the fingertips have little vibrators and they create an overall buzzing sensation. In my original wishlist I wrote:

The Magnificent Vibrating Glove: It’s not really a dildo, but it does fall into the vibe category. I’ve always wanted one, but wonder if they are just a gimmick. Hopefully I’ll find out and tell you!

Well, here’s what I found out. I think it’s really cool as a foreplay toy, but I could never achieve orgasm with the glove alone. I used it once on Mr. Kink and he did come. In fact, I’ve used it a few times with success on him, but I just can’t myself quite get there. It is waterproof so that means you can take it in the bathtub or the shower with you, but that also means you can also use a water-based lubricant with it for that perfect vibrating hand job. It gets Mr. Kink’s thumbs up!

We used it in every way imaginable - on ourselves, on each other, sexually and non-sexually and we like it. I think, though, that if I had to choose between the Vibrating Glove and the less expensive Silver Bullet, I’d choose the Silver Bullet. You can always improvise and use a glove you already have, put a silver bullet in the palm of your hand, and have a similar product. In fact, you could easily buy two Silver Bullets and have a glove for each hand! Now that’s thinking around corners!
